(Herndon, VA) — Women living in the area of Merrybrook Court in Herndon are concerned for their safety after the weekend sexual assault of a neighbor. Police say an armed man broke into the locked apartment of a 23-year-old woman early Saturday morning, assaulted her and fled. Detectives canvassed the area yesterday, handing out fliers and asking area residents if they remember seeing anything suspicious.
