(Corpus Christi, TX) — Easter at Bay Area Fellowship Church in Corpus Christi, Texas, looked like and episode of the Price Is Right television show. Sixteen cars, 15 flat-screen TV’s, furniture sets, and other prizes were lined up to be claimed by anyone who attended the church’s Easter services. Pastor Bil Cornelius admitted to the “Christian Post” the idea is a bit “outrageous.” But he sees it as an opportunity to “share Christ with people who may never go to a church for any reason.” The over $2-million worth of prizes were either donated or sponsored by members of the congregation. Also, more than 300 children attending the church’s newest campus located in a lower income neighborhood received new bicycles.
