(Rockville, MD)  —  About 100 Montgomery County government employees staged a protest at the office of County Executive Ike Leggett yesterday to speak out against proposed changes to their health and retirement benefits.  According to the “Gazette,” the rally started with about 300 employees in the courtyard outside of the Executive Office Building, but about one-third of the protesters later went to Leggett’s office.  Next week, the union plans to file an unfair labor practice charge against Leggett.
