(Dallas, TX)  —  President Obama is getting support for his health care agenda from liberal religious groups.  They announced Monday that they’re teaming up to counter the intense conservative opposition to the proposal for health care reform.  The “40 days for Health Reform” campaign includes having Obama take part in a call-in program with religious leaders that will be streamed on the Internet on August 19th.  There will also be prayer meetings and a nationwide television ad campaign.  Members of Congress met with strong protests in town hall meetings over health care overhaul plans.  Groups behind the health care plan include Faith in Public Life, Faithful America and Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good.
