A new study suggests that a woman’s diet may help determine the sex of her future child.  Dutch researchers followed 32 women who were hoping to become pregnant.  The women were given strict diets rich in fruit, vegetables, rice and calcium and low in sodium.  More than 80-percent of the women gave birth to baby girls.  As part of the study, the researchers also asked the women to try to conceive at a particular time in their cycle.  The research was carried out for a company that claims to help parents-to-be choose the sex of their baby through natural means.  The study appears on the website Reproductive Biomedicine Online.
