Jay Walker, who attended HBCU Howard University and excelled in Football as the School’s top Quarterback, and went on to make the professional ranks with the Minnesota Viking has had some better days!!

On Sunday morning, he was arrested in Charles County, Maryland for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

Jay Walker has been in the Maryland State House since 2007 as a Delegate, and he was ironoically the Vice Chairman of the Alcoholic Beverage Subcommittee.

House Speaker Adrienne Jones:  “Jay Walker, 48, has temporarily stepped down while the legal case is pending.”

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office said Walker was pulling out of a parking lot on Crain Highway in Waldorf, Maryland, when a sheriff’s patrol car had to “take evasive action” to avoid hitting Walker’s vehicle. Walker was arrested outside the Tinder Box cigar bar at about 1 a.m.
