The popular fast food restaurant Popeyes reintroduced their popular Chicken Sandwich on this past Sunday to the World.
With the popularity of the sandwich, folks have been flocking to Popeyes in drolls just to try that Chicken Sandwich.
On last night in Oxon Hill, Maryland, many folks were in line to get that Chicken Sandwich when a man tried to cut the line. One customer didn’t take too kindly to that and an argument and fight broke out. One man a 28 year old was stabbed multiple times in the parking lot on Livingston Road.
The man died from his injuries.
PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY POLICE SPOKESWOMAN JENNIFER DONELAN: “We have been able to determine that preliminarily that this is related to the release of the sandwich here at this restaurant. This individual was in line, a line specifically for the sale of the sandwich, when another customer and he got into an altercation. That ended with the victim being stabbed outside of the business.” “Knowing that a life was taken, it is hard to put into words. I can’t find the right words to describe what was done to this innocent victim.” “For you to get that angry over anything, for that type of anger to develop into this type of violence, again, is a very sad and tragic day and that person needs to turn himself in.”
Police are still looking for the suspect.
