AMAZON — retail Giant is bringing their Headquarters to Washington, D.C!!
Not only are they coming to the Nation’s Capital, they are coming to the Inner City of Washington.
Yesterday, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced four locations that she believes suit Amazon’s needs: Anacostia Riverfront, Capitol Hill East, Shaw-Howard University and NoMa-Union Station.

This project is huge for Washington, D.C. because Amazon has said it will invest up to $5 billion in construction over the next 10 to 15 years to create its second headquarters. Amazon said they expect to occupy 500,000 to 1 million square feet of office space by late 2019.
