Hundreds of contract workers at Dulles International and Reagan National Airport walked off the job this morning demanding higher wages.

400 workers including baggage handlers and wheelchair attendants with the Huntleigh USA Corporation walked all the job.  Huntleigh USA Corporation does business directly with the airlines.

The workers said they had to have two jobs just to make ends meet with their current salary of $6.15 an hour plus tips.  They want the minimum of $15.00 an hour.

Both airports said that no flights will be affected by this strike.
