In a very rare case of automobile traffic fatalities, this one is so rare that it’s the first that I have ever heard of. A Prince George’s County man in a wheelchair trying to get to his intended destination never made it as he was struck and killed by a motorists.
Abdul Jama of Clinton, Maryland was in the southbound lane when he was hit by a car also traveling south, which means Mr. Jama was hit from behind.
He was transported to a local hospital where he died. The driver stayed on the scene as this accident is still under investigation.
All parties are innocent until proven guilty.
