Sacramento, California Mayor and former NBA Superstar Kevin Johnson was hit in the face with a pie by an unknown and unexpected assailant.
Mayor Johnson was attending a Community Benefit at a local high school when a man named “Sean Thompson” walked up to him, grabbed him and smashed a pie right in his face.
A scuffle occured but with Police presence, it didn’t last very long.

Thompson who is 32 suffered minor injuries during the scuffle as arrested on felony charges of assaulting a public official.
Mayor Kevin Johnson who made a career playing professional basketball is in his second term as Mayor of Sacramento, which by the way is his hometown, and says he will not run for another term.
Johnson by the way is married to former Washington, D.C. School Chancellor “Michelle Rhee,” who left the city not on the best terms.
Mayor Johnson said he was doing fine and thanks to everyone for their concern.
