Steve Harvey is a testament to what is truly possible with faith, perseverance and undying belief in your
dreams. The once homeless comedian is having the time of his life and is giving all glory to God.
“God is good! Thank you to all of my fans for supporting me,” tweeted the 57-year-old, following news that he
had won two Daytime Emmy Awards.
The “Steve Harvey” show was honored as outstanding informative talk show, while Harvey won as best game
show host for “Family Feud.”
Though Harvey did not attend the live 41st annual ceremony in Beverly Hills that streamed over the Internet, he
is thrilled by the honor and recognition.
If nabbing double Emmy wins weren’t enough, his new movie, Think Like A Man Too, the follow-up romantic
comedy based on based on his best-selling book, scored #1 in its opening weekend, raking in more than $30
million.
Can it get any better for the self-proclaimed “imperfect soldier for Christ?”
During a 2013 interview with Bishop TD Jakes, a choked up Harvey said “It’s a lot in my life that the only
explanation I can give you is Him. You know man, I ain’t been that good. You understand? I ain’t the funniest cat
in the world. You know, I ain’t the best businessman in the world.”
But right now, he is one of the most successful media personalities in the world and in his estimation, all glory
goes to God.
