ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) –
Today cookie fans across the county will host flash birthday parties to celebrate Oreo’s 100th birthday.
In 1912 the famous cookie was created in the U.S. on March 6 when the National Biscuit Company (later re-branded Nabisco, and even later merged with Kraft) sold its Oreo Sandwiches for the first time to a grocer in Hoboken, N.J.
