(Undated) — Churches are among the venues being targeted by federal tax scam artists. According to the “South Florida Sun-Sentinel,” the IRS says says the hucksters are enticing people to send in false federal tax returns for cash back. IRS spokesman Michael Dobzinski says people are encouraged to file a return with the IRS for tax credits, refunds or rebates fow which they are not really entitled. He claims the scam continues despite the April tax deadline has long passed.
