(Undated) — A 2002 presidential executive order that protects religious hiring rights is under fire from liberal organizations. CitizenLink says a coalition of 52 organizations sent a letter to President Obama urging him to prohibit contractors who do business with the government from using religious-based hiring practices. CitizenLink’s Bruce Hausknecht believes the motives of the coalition are to, quote, “silence people of faith and push them out of the public square.”
