(Annapolis, MD)  — This weekend marks the unofficial start to summer.  Many people plan to spend the three-day weekend at the beach, but most of us get there we have to go across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.  Teri Moss with the Maryland Transportation Authority says if you can’t tolerate sitting in traffic, your best bet is to be on the road before 10 a.m.  Otherwise wait until after 10 p.m. To avoid backups on your return trip through Kent Island and across the bridge this weekend, she offers the same advice — leave early or leave late when you come back Sunday or Monday.
