(Philadelphia, PA)  —  A Philadelphia jury is awarding ten-million dollars to a 13-year-old girl for a life-threatening reaction to Children’s Motrin.  Brianna Maya was three-and-a-half when her parents gave her the drug to treat a fever.  She lost 84-percent of her skin, 50-percent of her lung capacity, was blinded, and her reproductive organs were destroyed.  The potentially deadly reaction occurs in up to five out of every one million users.
