(Undated)  —  A recent survey shows what Evangelical leaders really believe about the end times.  The poll conducted by the National Association of Evangelicals surveyed its board of directors which includes leaders from a broad array of denominations and evangelical organizations.  The poll found 13 percent are what’s called “amilliennialists” and believe that the non-literal millennial reign of Christ is happening now as Christ reigns at the right hand of the Father.  Another four percent are “post-milliennialists” and believe the second coming will happen after the one-thousand year period during which the nations will be progressively converted to Christianity.  But the majority, well over 60 percent are “premilliennialists” believing Jesus Christ will return to earth and then reign with his followers for one-thousand years.
