(Montgomery County, MD) –Montgomery County residents are being warned about downed wires following Wednesday’s snowstorm . Although many of the wires are dead due to area power outages, Fire Captain Oscar Garcia says to treat every downed wire as if it is live. He says anyone who sees a fallen wire should call authorities and report its location and be extremely cautious because as power returns to affected neighborhoods, the wires will again be live.
