Prince George’s County gets a new state’s attorney yesterday.  Angela Alsobrooks was sworned into office.  She takes over for long-serving attorney Glenn Ivey.  The 39-year-old Alsobrooks tells the “Washington Post” she plans to put more emphasis on fighting burglaries, corruption and holding police officers accountable for criminal misconduct.  Alsobrooks takes over as county and federal prosecutors investigate allegations of bribery against several high profile residents, including Jack Johnson and his wife Leslie Johnson.  There are also pending corruption investigations involving several police officers.
