Hoda Kotb, the host of the 10 am “Later Today” show on NBC has been filing in on the Prime Time Today show since the release of Matt Lauer.
NBC Officials have decided to keep her there and named her the permanent co-host of the ‘TODAY” Show alongside of Savannah Guthrie.
Savannah Guthrie: “This has to be the most popular decision NBC News has ever made.”
Hoda Kotb: “There’s no one I’d rather be sitting next to in 2018 than you. (Savannah)
The move became possible when NBC released Matt Lauer for sexual misconduct; and Hoda Kotb has been filling in; and not it’s official.
Kotb will host the 7 am and 8 am hour; Megyn Kelly is the host of the 9 am hour/
She will by the way keep her 10 am slot with Kathy Lee Gifford.
