A Rapper named “Tru Kelly” and his musical partner “Yung Groovey” decided to shoot a rap video.  Nothing wrong with that.  They decided to shoot it on New Year’s Day; nothing wrong with that.  They decided to shoot it near a Credit Union; nothing wrong with that.

Here’s where all the rights went wrong.  They decided to shoot a video near a bank using real guns, dressed in all black with black hoods on their heads, with a U-Haul Truck.

A bystander thought it was a real robbery because of the circumstances surrounding the scene called police.  Police showed up with more real guns drawn and trying to get the Rappers to explain that it was only a video shoot was something for the world to hear.

They also had fake money inside the U-Haul Truck.

The incident was reported about 1:45 p.m. just outside of Houston.

After it was all said and done, no charges were filed against the rappers, but were told next time to inform the Credit Union and the Police that they were gonna shoot a Robbery Rap Video.

The rappers said they are eternally grateful to the police.

In the end, Rapper “Tru” was taken in on an outstanding warrant and had to pay $1,700.
