D.C. Police got an anonymous call on Monday and the caller said that there was an abandoned U-Haul truck parked in the 2000 block of 38th Street in Southeast.
When Police arrived – the situation was just as the caller described – U-Haul parked on 38th Street, S.E.
But what the caller did not describe was the contents inside. When Police opened the back end of the truck, what they found was far beyond imagination. They found 5 stolen ATM machines inside.
The truck was reported stolen, and at the time of recovery it was not clear whether the ATM’s had any money in them.
At this point there are still no suspects or arrest.
