If you mailed a package through the United States Postal Service on Monday, it’s a good chance that recipient will receive it on today – Thursday.
The Post Office said that Monday was the busiest mailing and delivery day of the year. More than 30 million packages are expected to arrive at doorsteps on today, if the calculations are correct and the Post Office believes that they are.
The Post Office also said that in spite of the 30 Million packages mailed on Monday, that’s only a fraction of the 750 Million Packages being handled by the Post Office during this whole holiday season.
