New York Jets v Washington Washington Football Team

In a must win situation last night, the Washington Football Team went into lose mode and played like loosers, dropping a Big Game to the  Carolina Panthers 26-16 at FedEx Field here in Landover, Maryland.

Playing against his old team, Josh Norman played well and refused to be dominated by Cam Newton in front of a National Audience.

Things got so bad for the Home Team that Jordan Reed was ejected for throwing a punch, Kirk Cousins threw an interception, the Home Team had less than 50 yards rushing and then they fumbled and Carolina picked the ball up on the 1 yard line.  By them starting their drive on the 1 yard line, made it their shortest drive in franchise history.  Then on the other hand, it theorically can’t get any closer than that.

Gramatically, the Washington Home Team is still in the hunt for a playoff spot, but realistically they are for the most part dead in the water.

They need to win the remaining games and some teams would have to lose just to get in, and it almost never ends up the way people want it too.

The next game is Saturday when Washington plays Chicago.
