On Saturday, Officer Ashley Guindon responded to a domestic disturbance call inside the northern Virginia home of a Pentagon worker. According to police, Army Staff Sgt. Ronald Hamilton opened fire as Guindon arrived at his door, killing her and wounding two other officers.

Hamilton and his wife Crystal had been arguing all day, but it escalated once she called 911. Hamilton fatally shot his wife and then fired at the arriving officers, police say. He eventually surrendered.

The viewing and funeral are both open to the public. But it should be noted that because of space limitations, priority will be given to fellow law enforcement and government officials.
