WASHINGTON — Jessica McCloughan, the wife of Washington Football Team general manager Scot McCloughan, has apologized for sending disparaging remarks on Twitter to ESPN reporter Dianna Russini.
The tweets accused Russini of performing sexual favors in exchange for information about the team.
The team has confirmed Jessica McCloughan sent the remarks. McCloughan apologized in a statement, and avoided mentioning Russini by name.
