Yale University announced that John C. Calhoun College will be renamed after computer scientist Grace Murray Hopper.
Yale University said it would continue to name a residential college after John C. Calhoun, a 19th century slavery defender. University officials decided, however, to stop addressing residential faculty as masters.
"We will move much further toward anarchy than anybody can imagine, and much more quickly," Ben Carson told Fox News about the recent uprisings on college campuses.
The students of Yale University used their voices to speak out against several instances of racial injustice on the Ivy League campus.
