The head of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission claims quality of life would suffer under President Obama’s health care reform plan if it becomes law. According to Baptist Press, Richard Land said, quote, “I don’t want to seem overly dramatic here, but I’m telling you, based on everything I know, if we get Obama-care, it will significantly lower the quality of life and length of life of your children and grandchildren.” Land made the comments during a briefing for Southern Baptist pastors in northern Virginia. Land believes that if government-sponsored health care is implemented, it will not be rescinded.
