Master Child Worship Broadcast

Melvin Robinson, Jr. grew up in the Washington, DC area where he attended the DC and MD Public schools. Upon graduating from Potomac High School, he received a full 4-year football scholarship to Tennessee State University. Due to injuries sustained in football, he moved back to the DC area and eventually became a Prince George’s County Police Officer.

He is the only son of the late Bishop Melvin Robinson, Sr. (founder of The Master’s Child Church) and Evangelist Erma Robinson-Fitzgerald (co-founder of The Master’s Child Church). Always having a love for music, he began playing drums at the age of 5 and the organ at the age of 18. He eventually became the official “Minister of Music” for The Master’s Child Church.

In 1992, God had another calling on his life and Melvin became a Minister of The Master’s Child Church and in 1994, an ordained Elder. In February 1999, due to his father’s illness, Elder Robinson, Jr. was elevated to the Pastorate of The Master’s Child Church. Also in 1999, Pastor Robinson married the love of his life, First Lady Cheryl Robinson and they are the proud parents of two children, Camille and Melvin III.
