(Washington, DC) — Dozens of students at George Washington University are recovering from norovirus. The school has confirmed 85 cases of the highly contagious virus which causes symptoms that include vomiting and stomach cramping. Students say they are concerned about contracting the virus. Buildings like the Marvin Center, Gelman Library and Lerner Health and Wellness Center are being scrubbed down. The illness usually lasts two to three days and while there is no specific treatment, it’s important that those who fall ill to drink lots of fluids to prevent dehydration.
