(Montgomery Co., MD)  —  A Montgomery County burglar who was caught after leaving his cellphone charging in a victim’s home, will spend more than two-decades behind bars.  Cody Wilkins will spend 26-and-a-half-years in prison after pleading guilty to seven break-ins around the county.  According to the “Washington Post,” Circuit Court Judge Eric Johnson told Wilkins that he handed down the long sentence because so many houses were hit in such a calculating fashion.  The judge did, however, indicate that he may later reduce the sentence.  Wilkins’ attorney says his client broke into the homes to feed a 300-dollar a day Oxycontin habit.
