(Washington, DC) — Police are investigating a shooting inside the Petworth Metro station. Officers responded to the station in the 37-hundred block of Georgia Avenue just before 10 p.m. last night and found a man had been shot in the leg. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Transit police are investigating but so far have released no information about a suspect or a motive in the case.
