More work near Telegraph Road will mean the Inner and Outer Loops of the Capital Beltway will be narrowed to two lanes approaching the Woodrow Wilson Bridge this week.
The work will occur 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through Thursday. On Friday, the work will occur from 9 a.m. to noon.
The Inner Loop narrows to two lanes between Telegraph Road and Van Dorn Street. The Outer Loop narrows to two lanes between the Eisenhower Connector and Telegraph Road.
At night the Outer Loop will see similar lane closures between the Eisenhower Connector and Telegraph Road. That work will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night through Friday. At the same time, the Inner Loop will narrow to two lanes between Telegraph Road and the Eisenhower Connector.
Additionally, Telegraph Road North during the day will be narrowed to one lane between Huntington Avenue and Pershing Avenue.
At night the Telegraph Road North ramp to the Inner Loop will be closed.
Contractors are completing utility, grading and roadway construction work.
