(Rockville, MD) — A former Catholic priest is under arrest on charges he sexually abused two former students on the campus of the Georgetown Preparatory School in North Bethesda. Investigators in Montgomery County say 57-year-old Garrett Orr of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania taught at Georgetown Prep from 1989 until 2003 and last year, they received complaints which have led to charges of child abuse and a sexual offense. One victim says he was inappropriately touched by Orr in 1989 while another other former student reports a similar incident took place in 2002. Orr had been charged as a fugitive from justice in Pennsylvania, but was released to face charges in Maryland. After turning himself into police on January 25th, the former clergy member is now free on 50-thousand-dollars bond.
