CeCe Winans Launches 20-Day Prayer Campaign
CeCe Winans is stepping up in a big way by launching a 20-day “Pray the Word” campaign right as we head toward Easter 2026. She shared a video on social media explaining that her heart has been heavy with everything going on in the world, and she truly believes now is the time for people to come together and seek the Lord.
For the next twenty days, she is inviting everyone to join her in daily prayer. Her plan is to share a short video each day with a specific scripture to focus on. She explained that praying the word of God ensures we are praying for what is actually on His heart, which she feels is a desperate need for our world and our communities right now.
CeCe isn’t doing this alone, though. She’s also calling on her fellow artists to use their own platforms to encourage prayer over these next few weeks. Her goal is to see a sense of unity where everyone is praying for God’s will and trusting that He is still at work.
She leaned on her faith to highlight why this matters, citing 1 John 5:14-15 to remind people that if we pray according to His will, He hears us. To get things started, she kicked off the first day with 2 Chronicles 7:14. That verse really emphasizes the need for humility and repentance as a way to see healing in the land. It’s a pretty powerful initiative focused on lifting up the country and the world during a busy season.
