On Saturday, the First Family made a trip to Howard University’s Burr Gymnasium to watch Howard’s men’s basketball team play against Oregon State, where Michelle Obama’s brother Craig Robinson is the head coach.

President Obama, fresh off from getting 12 stitches after getting an elbow from his own basketball game, was very much the very enthused basketball fan that he’s always depicted to be as the Obamas seemed to be rooting against the home team.

Oregon State beat Howard 84-74.

“There had to be times during Saturday afternoon’s game when Howard Coach Kevin Nickelberry looked up into the stands and wished he could put President Obama or Education Secretary Arne Duncan in the game,” Washington Post reporter Kathy Orton wrote.
