In 2018, MySpirit 1340 is celebrating their 40th anniversary on the air. The station has an illustrious career with many amazing talents working in the station throughout the years. Urban One Founder Cathy Hughes turned the switch on the station 2 years before founding her own company, giving the station its name and a start which has reigned for four decades.
General Sales Manager Karen Jackson and morning man Winston Chaney has been apart of WYCB for more than 30 years so it is only right that the duo exchange memories of their time here at the station.
