Over the past two months, someone has been doing a drive-by at a local Maryland Church; and I don’t just read a “ride-by”, the New Life Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Someone has been riding by firing shots at the Church Building and it had Montgomery County Police baffled as to why and who would do such a thing.
Well, someone came forward, and Montgomery County will not say who or why they came forward; but that person helped police identify Kevin Banfield as the suspect in the case.
County Police went to Banfield’s home and found a handgun and ammunition in his bedroom. The handgun recovered at his residence was the same weapon that was used in the shooting, according to forensic testing conducted on the shell casings and gun.
Kevin Banfield faces numerous charges, reckless endangerment, destruction of religious property, destruction of property over $1,000, and discharging a firearm in an urban area.
