Shawn Jones, Gospel singer and the Pastor of the New Thing Empowerment Church in Auburn, Alabama, collapsed and died while doing what he loved and was called to do – Singing with his group “Shawn Jones & The Believers” and his complete band recently in Pensacola, Fla. Pastor Jones was 32.
The church and Jones’ supporters held “The Shawn Jones Legacy Concert” on Monday, November 27, at 6:00 pm, as well as a memorial service on Tuesday morning at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
