Tommie Smith – the one time fastest man in the world visited “THE WINSTON CHANEY MORNING SHOW.”

1968 Gold Medalist “Tommie Smith” was in Washington, D.C. for a track event on Saturday morning, but he took time out to stop by the Morning Show on that Friday.

I had a chance to talk to “Tommie Smith” about the controversy of 1968 in the Mexico City Olympic Games.

He talked candidly about the controversy and numerous topics about the pre-Olympics, during the games, and life after the Olympic Games.

This was one of the best interviews I have ever had.  Smith moved from the Bay Area and now living in Atlanta and doing quite well for himself.

He also said that “John Carlos” – his partner in this whole Olympic ordeal is doing fine.

“Tommie Smith” is now “DR. TOMMIE SMITH” – is a great interview, and if anyone ever gets to meet him and interview him, you would not be disappointed.

Thank you “Dr. Tommie Smith” for taking time to visit ‘THE WINSTON CHANEY MORNING SHOW.”
