Bowie State University has released a statement saying that they have hired a new President to take over starting July 1, 2017.
The University System of Maryland had named Aminta Hawkins Breaux as the new President of the HBCU Institution.
Aminta Breaux is currently the Vice President for Advancement at Millersville University. She holds a Bachelor’s and Doctoral Degree from Temple in Philadelphia. She also holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
She has also served in the capacity as Dean of Students at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and also Assistant Provost at Drexel University.
