Police officers around the nation arrest civilians when they are caught driving under the influence.  They also arrest other Police Officers when they are caught Driving under the influence.

But when a Police Officer is caught driving under the influence on the job and in a Marked Police Car – then it goes to a whole different level

Prince George’s County Police Department arrested one of its own officers Thursday after he crashed his cruiser in an alleged drunk driving incident.

Around 2:30 am on Thursday Morning right near Pennsylvania Avenue on The Beltway Officer First Class Christopher Brown clipped the back of a Tractor Trailer, then lost control of his cruiser and hit a guardrail.

His fellow officers suspected that Officer Brown had been under the influence  and arrested.  It was never reported if Officer Brown was given a breathalyzer.

No one was hurt in the incident, but Officer Brown has been suspended.

Officer Brown has been charged in multiple counts of driving under the influence and speeding.
