Ben Carson used his speech on day two of the RNC to heighten the convention’s baffling chain of events to new levels.

“I have to start out by saying one very important thing. I’m not politically correct,” Carson opened.

The famed neurosurgeon turned politician moved on, dissecting the evils of the liberal media andsecular progressives” who are against America’s advancement.

Eventually he honed in on Hillary Clinton, saying “America may never recover” from a Clinton presidency.

Why, you ask? According to Carson, Clinton would lead America into a deep-seated abyss, stripped of economic prowess, educational achievement, and Christian values.

The kicker was Carson’s allegation that one of Clinton’s role models, community organizer Saul Alinksy, acknowledged Lucifer in one his books. In his fleshed out thesis, Carson linked Clinton with Satan, successfully leading the crowd to believe that because Clinton admired Alinsky, she would obliterate the religious foundation the nation was built upon. Deception at its best.

He said, via PolitiFact:

“He wrote a book called Rules for Radicals. It acknowledges Lucifer, the original radical who gained his own kingdom. Now think about that. This is our nation where our founding document, the Declaration of Independence talks about certain inalienable rights that come from our creator, a nation where our Pledge of Allegiance says we are ‘One nation under God.’ This is a nation where every coin in our pockets and every bill in our wallet says, ‘In God We Trust.’ So are we willing to elect someone as president who has as their role model somebody who acknowledges Lucifer? Think about that.”

Carson finally got around to promoting the GOP’s nominee for president, Donald Trumpwho Carson says he’s “proud” to support because Trump would “take America back!” – a play on Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”

Day two is a wrap. What do you think we’ll encounter next in this saga, also known as RNC 2016?
