If you’re looking for some delicious wings for football Sunday without the fattening properties of deep-fries and starchy breading, Holly Robinson Peete, actress and diva extraordinaire, has the perfect “wang” recipe just for you.

We all love a good, crunchy wing, but there are plenty of healthy things that you can use as an alternative for crunchy breading for yours. Peete recommends using flax seeds, brown rice bread crumbs, cajun spices and coconut oil. And for a nice, extra kick of flavor, try to use a pan that’s had a lot of seasoning over the years.

When you’re ready to get cookin’, simply start by rolling the wings in coconut oil. Then, roll them in their breadcrumbs mix and stick them in the oven in your special pan to cook. About halfway through, take your wings out and roll them in coconut oil and breading a second time around to give them an extra crunchy taste.

There you have it: crunchy wings, an ice cold Coca Cola and a football game to enjoy with the family. It doesn’t get much better than that, beauties!

Eat up and enjoy!
