Challenger Vincent Gray took the early lead over Washington Mayor Adrian Fenty in the District of Columbia’s Democratic primary Tuesday, showed, and is projected to become the new Mayor of the District Of Columbia with 30 percent of precincts reporting leading 56 to 44 percent.
