Alpha Kappa Alpha Chapters “Commemorating” The Legacy of Dr. King

imagesCAL80LKAThe members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated’s, Upsilon Tau Omega, Iota Gamma Omega, and Psi Epsilon Omega chapters are partnering to commemorate the 2013 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday by hosting two activities. On Sunday, January 20 Prince George’s County residents are invited to break bread with other residents and attend the MLK Sunday Supper in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Residents also may bring clothing donations for area homeless shelters, view a movie about nonviolence, and attend a financial literacy workshop for youth and adults.  The activities will be held at Benjamin Tasker Middle School, 4901 Collington Road, Bowie, MD 20715 from noon -5:00 p.m.  Please register for the event at mlksundaysupper2013.eventbrite.com.
