Troubled pop star Chris Brown is finally speaking out. The singer was a guest on CNN’s “Larry King Live” on Wednesday night, and says he worries that his recent assault charges could ruin his career. Joined by his mother, Joyce Hawkins, and his lawyer, Mark Geragos, Chris Brown sat down with Larry King for his first interview since assaulting Rihanna back in February. Brown will spend the next five years of his life on probation and will perform six months of community labor, but the singer says he received a fair punishment. Despite their turbulent relationship, Brown says he is still in love with Rihanna and hopes to have a relationship in the future. However, when asked about previous reports that they had endured violence in their relationship on more than one occasion, Brown declined to comment. Brown says he plans on continuing with his career, but acknowledges that he has to prove that he’s a better person.
