Those fancy computer forensics you see on TV are nifty and all, but who needs it when you’ll find all the clues you need monitoring your Facebook Timeline? The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office (a tremendous law-enforcement name, by the way) in Virginia was able to track down sex offender Dyllan Naecker at his girlfriend’s house thanks to some good, old-fashioned detective work: She’d “liked” the department’s Facebook page, which allowed the cops to track down her whereabouts. Now Samantha Dillow is facing charges, too, for obstruction of justice and presumably for harboring a fugitive — though obviously not very well. Wonder if they’ll let her update her Facebook status from jail.
