Research Shows Americans Giving To Churches Remains Down

(Undated) — A new study from Barna Research found three out of 10 Americans are reducing the amount given to churches. The Christian Post says the number remains unchanged since January of last year when the number of people giving was at an all time low. Barna’s David Kinnaman says, quote, “The economic downturn influenced donations later than it affected other aspects of our spending.”
